On behalf of the Department of Biology at Çankırı Karatekin University (Türkiye), I would like to express our interest in establishing collaboration within the scope of student internship mobility.
We are currently seeking motivated undergraduate or graduate students who would be interested in participating in an internship program in our Biotechnology Laboratory. The internship will be conducted within the framework of an ongoing research project entitled: “Genome-wide Analysis of Genetic Resources of Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) Using Next-Generation Sequencing: Determination of Genetic Diversity and Local Adaptation.” This project focuses on advanced molecular and genomic approaches, including next-generation sequencing (NGS), to investigate genetic diversity and adaptive variation in chestnut populations.
We would be pleased to host students from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași who are interested in plant biotechnology, genomics, and forest genetics. If possible, we kindly ask you to share this opportunity with your students who may be interested in gaining international research experience.
